I found this great infographic which has some interesting tea facts. I’ve always found infographics to be a great visual tool and this certainly puts the amount of tea being consumed into perspective. Can you really believe there are 3 billion cups of tea consumed daily? Thanks hard to even fathom!
What is Bubble Tea & Boba Tea?

Bubble tea, also known as boba tea or pearl tea, originated in Taiwan during the 1980′s. While the exact origin is unclear, one story tells that it was Lin Hsiu Hui who invented the drink in 1988 while working at a teahouse. Out of fun she took her fenyuan, a typical Taiwanese desert made of tapioca balls, and mixed it with her Assam iced tea.

We’ve had a few customers asking us “what is Afternoon Tea” and “what is High Tea” so we thought we would start here and clear up a few misconceptions.
